BIRTHDAY BRUNCH.

“BRUNCH IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA”

If you guys follow me on Instagram @oliviaz_pot  (if not why not? Cuz you are missing out) then you already know last weekend I hosted a brunch at home and I was super excited about it.

 

The brunch pulled out both of my creative sides, from the DIY decor I made for my table setting to planning a proper meal for my loved ones. Just to steal a little secret for you, if we ever become friends, know that brunch is a thing with me.

Last Saturday my beautiful mother turned a year older & I couldn’t thank God enough. I couldn’t hide my joy and excitement either. First, I take birthdays seriously, second I believe in lifetime memories and on top of all that she is my mother and I’m her first born.

So all the preparations were of last minutes because I wasn’t feeling well but I had to pull up my game. I decided for a brunch, I listed the type of menu I wanted and I got almost every ingredient from Game Supermarket at Mlimani City- Dar, for the decor I wanted something simple, bright and Vintage so all the decor was DIY done by yours truly.

With the family all together and our aunties and cousin, the day was filled by love, laughter, joy & lifetime memories. I loved that mama loved and appreciated everything we did for her on her big day.
