HOLIDAY MUG CAKES RECIPES 3 WAYS

Happy Wednesday Lovies!

I have a friend who doesn’t like cakes at all, and I’m always surprised when she says that with a smile on her face. Why can’t someone love cakes? like for real it’s cakes, the yummy cakes ? I mean it’s cakes…. C. A. K. E… Cake!

Anyway, sometimes last month my 4 years old niece took over my instagram account. Oh wait, you are not following me? Why not boo?  you are missing out things. Okay, here you go follow me now @oliviaz_pot

So, my baby niece took over instagram as she shared how she baked a vanilla mug cake under my supervision  of course and it came so perfect and some of you guys DMd me that you would love to see more of the process from scratch and so I thought why not? You ask, I deliver.

It will only take you less than 10 minutes in the kitchen to bake these fancy and cute mug cakes, and because I love you I am sharing with you three types of mug cakes.

WHAT I USED

All purpose wheat flour

Butter

Milk

Sugar

Vanilla Essence

Egg

Baking powder

 

WHAT I DID

In a bowl add butter and Sugar mix them together until all soft. Then add 3 spoonfuls of all purpose wheat flour, ½ table spoon of baking powder mix all together. Lastly an egg, 1 table spoon of vanilla essence and milk enough for the mixture. Whisk everything together before you separate into different mugs for baking.

 

 

CARROT MUG CAKE

Add some grated carrots in the mixture and whisk through

Then put the mixture into a mug ready to bake

 

STRAWBERRY YOGURT MUG CAKE

My  niece’s favorite mug cake. First it smells heaven, second it tastes amazing.

Add some strawberry yogurt in the mixture we have prepared before,whisk  thoroughly and finally add it into  mug to bake.

FRUITY MUG CAKE

I used dry grapes, fresh pineapple (cut into tiny pieces), Fresh squeezed orange juice and orange zest. Add all these into the mixture you have prepared.

 

Baking Time : For the mug cakes we bake them in the microwave for at least 2 minutes. You may start by microwaving them for 2 minutes and then insert a tooth pick in inside the cake to see if it’s all ready baked. If not you may add 1 minute more until baked properly. For my cakes I used 3 minutes

NOTE: Do not fill the mug to the top cause as the cakes bakes it will pop out and it will pour down.
